We truly experienced something so special at Renew. We saw the Mascot community come together and seek a deeper connection with Christ. It was beautiful to witness so many people rededicating their lives and finding true freedom in worship. We had people use water baptism as their public declaration of salvation. Sunday night, we were completely blown away during the Immersion service where there was 50+ individuals who decided to enter the water that night, including our entire team. We saw radical healings and people receiving deliverance. The Holy Spirit was so tangible and undeniable every night. We have heard so many testimonies about this revival and we truly couldn't thank God enough! I know for our team specifically it was life changing and God encountered us in way that we didn't even know we needed. Below is a statement we realized after the conference and it still holds true.
"Going as low as we can so that He can be lifted higher.
— This past Sunday we all decided to take part in the immersion service. We all had our reasons. We all had our convictions. Before service even started it began, the team from Glory Church at Dante and our Hopewell Church family began praying for and over us. The moments leading up to the first immersion were so broken yet so intimate and so powerful and God just just continued to pour into us until overflow, until we all only had one option. To submit and surrender. What started as such a broken season of our ministry turned into such a powerful, oiled, and joyful shift in our lives. Surrounded by the love of everyone around us. The perfectly articulated words from the Lord spoken over all of us individually. We are changed. We are set ablaze with no boundaries. We want nothing but Jesus and His presence. To be vessels used to usher in His glory. Thank you Jesus for always standing by us. Thank you Jesus for your anointing and for being there right when we needed you to be."
Watching someone cry out to the Lord to save them never gets old. We witnessed just that during Renew. Sweet moments of sweet surrender to the Lord.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. God definitely showed up and gave us all the ability to worship Him in Spirit and Truth. Listening to the whole church singing in unison was amazing.
Immersion is a stirring of the waters and a belief that God can deliver whatever we ask. We saw people healed, lives changed, and God definitely stirred the waters. It was a night to remember for sure.
